It is in the love of cross and resurrection I write to you giving thanks for your faithfulness and generous investment in HPCUMC’s and The Warehouse’s mission and ministry; offering new life and hope to people in our community, and across the globe! Thank you for being a part of God’s light and love to the world. Because you gave:
• Weekly worship opportunities continue to inspire, comfort and offer hope in the midst of the chaos around us (lingering pandemic and war in Ukraine).
• Technological upgrades have allowed our worship services to engage an ever- increasing population on Sunday mornings, and other important services throughout the week.
• We offered a new Lenten Jazz Vesper service in person and on line.
• The Praise Band offered a “Night of Praise” service, enhancing our Lenten journey.
• The annual Lent retreat offered a fresh perspective on embracing God’s presence and blessings in the “Liminal Spaces” of life: “Betwixed and Between.”
• Discipleship classes are flourishing as dedicated leaders facilitate growth in our relationship with God and one another.
• Over $151,000 was given in direct aid to our Cincinnati partners: IHN, MEAC, Center for Respite Care, Wesley Chapel Mission Center, Wesley Education Center, Rothenberg Preparatory Academy, Meals on Wheels, 55 North (Hyde Park Center for Older Adults), Habitat for Humanity, State Ave. UMC, UMW Fleece Blanket Ministry, Summer Camp Reading Program, and Red Bird Mission Hearing Aid Ministry.
• Project 5000 bags continue to be delivered to our Community Partners as together we help meet the needs of the most vulnerable in our community.
• Over $12,000 has been collected for UMCOR relief in Ukraine; and Support for our partner church in Cluj, Romania flourishes as they strive to minister to Ukrainian Refugees.
• The Warehouse continues to engage the Washington Park neighborhood of Over-The-Rhine in creative ways through social media outlets and live stream broadcasts.
• The Preschool continues to thrive, enrollment for the 2022/2023 school year is in process, offering our community a quality education grounded in the light and love of Christ.
• The Family Ministry Team creatively offers fellowship and learning opportunities, seeking to keep our children, youth and their families connected.
• Around 600 individuals enjoyed the 2022 Easter Egg hunt, sharing God’s love with the community.

Thank you for your generosity, it is a joy to serve in ministry with you!
Through Christ,
Pastor Doug
