Found House Families
at Hyde Park Community UMC
Starting June 19th, Hyde Park Community UMC will be housing 4 families for 6 weeks over the summer with Found House Interfaith Hospitality Network. Through our partnership with Found House (formally Interfaith Hospitality Network of Greater Cincinnati) we are working to ensure families have access to temporary shelter and connect families to the housing they deserve. While we are housing and hosting families throughout the summer, we are in need of people to provide donations for meals and supplies and be onsite with the families.
Hosting Weeks:
June 19 – June 26
July 31 – August 7
August 14 – August 21

Behind the scene opportunities include:
- Taking bedding/towels on Sunday and laundering them
- Providing food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner
- Providing supplies to make people’s stay more comfortable (hygiene items, children’s activities, etc.)

Onsite opportunities:
- Dinner host (5:00-7:00p) – helping set up for dinner, enjoy dinner with the families, help with clean and packing lunches for the next day and visit with families and play with children after dinner.
