Grace and Peace to you through our Risen Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! As the flowers bloom and the trees bud, all of creation reminds us: we are a Resurrection People! As Resurrection People, we offer Resurrection Living to others. To this end your generous financial investment in the mission and ministry of HPCUMC/The Warehouse offers God’s light and love to the world. Because you gave:
• As we resume in person worship we look forward to face to face fellowship. In addition, through our dedicated IT staff, we are uniquely positioned to continue a quality livestream worship experience that inspires, comforts and offers hope and encouragement.
• Discipleship classes continue and flourish as dedicated leaders facilitate growth in our relationship with God and one another.
• Over $68,000 in direct aid for our neighbors in Cincinnati through our partnerships (IHN, MEAC, Center for Respite Care, Wesley Chapel Mission Center, Wesley Education Center, Rothenberg Preparatory Academy, Meals on Wheels, Hyde Park Center for Older Adults, Habitat for Humanity).
• Project 5000 bags continue to be delivered to our Community Partners as together we help meet the needs of the most vulnerable in our community.
• The Warehouse, continues to engage the Washington Park neighborhood of Over-The-Rhine in creative ways through social media outlets and live stream broadcasts. The Warehouse is planning an official, in person, launch June 6 in Washington Park.
• The Preschool continues to thrive through in-person education as a 5-Star Step UP to Quality Preschool (the top ranking in Ohio’s tiered quality ranking and improvement system). Enrollment for the 2021/2022 school year is in process, and robust.
• The Family Ministry Team has creatively offered fellowship and learning opportunities, seeking to keep our children, youth and their families connected.
• Over 400 children and adults participated in The Easter Egg Community Welcome Event, offering families in our church and community a fun, and exciting glimpse of HPC offering God’s light and love.
• The Senior Adult Ministry creatively stayed connected with our home bound members delivering Easter Bags from the church. Cards were made by the Preschoolers and children Sunday School classes; volunteers donated chocolate eggs, packed, and delivered the bags.
• Our Music Ministry, innovatively connects us through music.
Thank you for your faithfulness, your financial investment in the mission and ministry of HPCUMC/The Warehouse is foundational in who we are, and what we do. As we resume in-person worship (beginning April 11) we look forward to increasing face to face activities. It is a joy to serve in ministry with you!
Through Christ,
Pastor Doug
