Save the Date! Our official in-person launch is on June 6, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Washington Park and at the Church. We will have a time for the children at 12 noon. We hope you will be able to make it. We will also have outdoor worship and service experiences (weather permitting) on July 11, Aug 1, and September 5. After over a year of waiting, NOW is the time!
We will release our next Virtual Night of Worship: My Heart’s Desire on April 30th at 7:30 pm. Our Worship Director, Robert Johnson, prayerfully envisioned a beautiful worship experience, and has been working with Zeke Plymesser to make it happen. Our last worship night was viewed by over 600 people. We are praying that this one will bless many as well. Over the Summer, the music department will host some events with food for the community out of The Gathering Place on the first floor…so stay tuned.
Church culture has shifted and many churches, including The Warehouse, are formulating Hybrid Worship experiences—an online campus, and in-person offerings. We have been in a steep learning curve to do this. Right now, even before launching, we have 80 or so people attending our services weekly, half of them online. Our online campus is also launching on June 6th, catalyzed by Victoria Sumner, our Program Director and David McClendon our Tech Director. Our Children’s Director, Wanda Baker, is preparing for our first 3-day VBS experience over the Summer. We are praying that our partnerships with Rothenberg Elementary and Wesley Chapel will help to populate this event.
Renovations at The Warehouse continue, if you have not seen the new space, come visit any Sunday at 10:00 am for service. Pastor Sherman is doing a great job spearheading these efforts. Our current series is “Faith on Trial.” If you are coming, Text “Visit”or “Welcome” 513-496-1444 to register for social distancing and wear your mask. Our capacity with social distancing is 64 people.
The Bradleys recently shot a video about the Nast Trinity building and its new home, The Warehouse Church OTR for History In Your Own Backyard. It is scheduled to be released this month.
Finally, Pastor Sadell is finishing up her second semester at United Theological Seminary, pursuing an MDiv, and is grateful to have been awarded Hyde Park’s Master’s Scholarship.
All this and more is happening at The Warehouse Church, where transformation begins. Thank you so much for your prayers and support.
Pastor Sadell Bradley
P.S. In case you missed it, our Ministers in Training preached the 7 last words of Jesus on Good Friday and it was wonderful! Here’s the link. https://www.facebook.com/warehouseOTR/videos/3033361030320984
