This Sunday we continue our series “The Anatomy of Love.” In the second letter of John we are invited to walk in the truth.
It seems during this divisive season in our lives that everyone claims to know the truth. If you disagree with another person’s version of the truth, watch out. You might be bullied or abused. A new word that has emerged in our culture is “cancelling.” This is not directed at your insurance policy; it is a form of shunning another human being.
Is there another path?
Jesus came and announced: “I am the way, the truth, and the life.” The gospel also proclaims: “You shall know the truth and the truth will set you free.”
