This Sunday we welcome Yinka Arjiotutu who will share the next message in our Holy Troublemakers and the Arc of Justice series about “The Importance of Relationships in Holy Troublemaking.”
She will preach on Exodus 18:1-27. This is the story of Jethro giving counsel to Moses. It is a testament to the importance of relationships, wise advice, delegation of responsibilities, and acknowledging God’s works, reminding us that successful leadership isn’t a one-person show but a collaborative endeavor. By implementing Jethro’s advice, Moses ensured justice and peace among the people, demonstrating how openness to counsel can lead to sustainable solutions.
Yinka Arjiotutu is a consultant with The Solution Consulting Co. We have been working with them over the last year in order to grow in our capacity to be an inclusive church where all feel a sense of belonging and to develop the action steps connected to our Strategic Plan. Yinka and Ava Williams will be here and will also meet with our youth and support the Action Step presentations that will be shared over the next few days. We hope you will attend one of them.
