Seeking God’s Face: Measuring the Divine

An ancient Christian prayer asks that we may see the face of God and live. This prayer represents a human desire to see what is invisible through faith in God’s presence in our lives. Today, we have devised many ways to measure what is real: both the seen and the unseen. This lecture explores how we “see” God through modern means of measurement and how we can develop a way to measure God’s universal presence.

The God Unit: Exploring the Spiritual Practice of God’s Presence

In our world there are many false representations of God’s word and it can be difficult to discern what is a faithful representation of God and what is not. In this workshop we will explore how to understand God’s presence. We will connect the Christian tradition to seek understanding of God’s word to how we can feel God’s presence and measure blessings of the Holy Spirit in our lives and our communities.

  • 8:30 am – 2:30 pm (lunch included)

Childcare for ages 4 & under is provided for all events.

Do Unto Others: Kindness includes Respect

Dan will preach at all three services (8:00 am, 9:30 am, and 11:00am)

Childcare for ages 4 & under is provided for all events.
