First Saturday Community Breakfast

The First Saturday Community Breakfast began in October 2024 as the first Emerging Ministry at Grace on Race St, the Over-the-Rhine campus of Hyde Park Community United Methodist. It was created with a bold hope: to build a vibrant, connected space where we can all come together—neighbors, friends, and new faces alike.

Each month, the breakfast brings together over 150 people for a free, hot meal served with warmth and welcome. It’s more than breakfast—it’s a place where stories are shared, friendships are formed, and the bonds within our community continue to grow.

Whether you call Over-the-Rhine home, are part of the Hyde Park congregation, or are simply looking for connection, you’re invited to the table. Come enjoy fresh coffee, a delicious meal including our signature cinnamon roll—a community favorite that’s quickly become a highlight of the morning. It’s a space that celebrates belonging, hospitality, and shared joy.

If you’d like to get involved, there are many ways to serve—from greeting guests to preparing food to simply being present in conversation.
