Young Adult Ministry

Connecting Young Adults shaped by community, questioning, and service

Our ministry creates brave space for young adults in their 20’s-mid 30’s to deepen through faith through study, conversation, service, and gatherings that build community. Whether you have called Cincinnati your home all your life or are new to the area, we want to connect with you!

If you are a person who is working to lean into the ideas that God’s abundant grace is for everyone – community is foundational – social justice is integral to a life of faith – LGBTQ+ people are beloved – Black Lives Matter – you can’t love God without loving others – climate change is real – faith and doubt are not incompatible – this group might be for you!

Brews and Brené

at Bean and Barley

Mondays from 7:00p-8:30p

Brews and Brené is BACK for the summer! On Mondays starting June 3rd meet at the downstairs patio of Beans and Barley (Madison Rd.) from 7:00p-8:30p for Brews and Brené to discuss an episode from Brené Brown’s podcasts (Dare to Lead and Unlocking Us) or a podcast episode featuring Brené Brown. If you haven’t tried out the young adult ministry yet, this is a great study to try out and invite friends to!

Dr. Brené Brown has spent over 20 years studying emotions and experiences that bring meaning and purpose to our lives and if there’s one thing she’s learned it’s this: we are hardwired for connection, and connecting requires courage, vulnerability, and conversation. This podcast is real, unpolished, honest, and reflects both the magic and messiness of what it means to be human.

Each week will feature a different guest talking about various topics so each week stands on its own – come when you can.
