Family Ministry

Family Ministry

Our Family Ministry welcomes all families to join us in a variety of ways! We develop, energize, and maintain vibrant programming to support our children, youth and families in their faith journeys from infancy to adulthood. We partner with families to help you grow TOGETHER in your relationship with God by combining the influence of church and home to fuel the faith in the next generation.

Children's Ministry

Infants-5th Grade

HPCUMC Children’s Ministry provides a fun, safe, and loving place where children and families can grow in their faith, grow in relationships, and grow in their knowledge of living as disciples of Jesus Christ.

Youth Ministry

6th-12th Grade

The Youth Ministry at Hyde Park Community seeks to partner with parents to help youth develop in all aspects of life while preparing for college and careers. Youth are given opportunities to explore their gifts and talents through worship, discipleship, and leadership.

Intentional Parenting Class

This weekly group is for parents who want to learn, grow & support one another on their parenting journey.  Parents or caregivers with kids of ANY age are welcome to join any week, and childcare is provided.

We gather on the third floor at 9:45 to socialize and then start our book discussion at 10:00.  We are currently exploring Paul Tripp’s “Parenting: Gospel Principles That Can Radically Change Your Family”.

Please contact Pam at ppilger@hpcumc if you’d like more information.  Stop by any time!
