Happiness Is

David Beloit wrote the following lyrics that I remember singing as a child.  Here are a few of my favorite lines:

“Happiness is two kinds of ice cream

Finding your skate key, telling the time

And happiness is learning to whistle

Tying your shoe for the very first time

Happiness is singing together when day is through

And happiness is those who sing with you

Happiness is being along ever now and then

And happiness is coming home again.

And happiness is morning and evening

Daytime and nighttime too

For happiness is anyone and anything at all

That is loved by you”

“The Ripple Effect” continues this week with a conversation Jesus has with a man in Jerusalem.  Jesus responds lovingly to the man’s question.  The man is caught in a trap; he longs for freedom.

Join us this Sunday morning as we consider two important questions about happiness:

What do you love?  Whom do you love?

“For happiness is anyone and anything at all that’s loved by you.”   I look forward to connecting with you on Sunday!

Peace,

Pastor Cathy
