October 7 – CRAFT CLUB 9:00am-6:00pm in the Welcome Center. We will have supplies and instructions to make Christmas trees and angels from recycled Methodist hymnals donated by HPCUMC and Christmas lanterns using mason jars. We will also paint ceramic jewelry. If you have any small paperback books that you would like to recycle, please bring them as well. We will have instructions to convert them into card and photo holders. You can make them to sell in our Christmas bazaar and/or to take home. Or bring something of your own to work on. Come for an hour or stay all day. All are welcome and lunch is provided. Childcare available, call Janet Woeste as 513.708.4936 for childcare reservations.
October 18 – CIRCLE OF LIGHT at 10:00am in the Welcome Center. Matthew Covert will share his message and his music at the meeting. Also October 18 at 6:30pm in the Little Theater, the CIRCLE OF RUTH welcomes Sister Florence from the Refugee Resettlement Program of Catholic Charities. She will give an overview of their extensive program and has invited a former refugee to share his story of how he was served by their staff and volunteers. October 19 – CIRCLE OF GRACE heads to the Wesley Chapel Mission Center at 9:30am for some hands-on mission work.
November 11 – Get your holiday shopping started early at Anderson Hill UMC’s JINGLE BELL FAIR this Saturday 9:00am-3:00pm. HPCUMC’s Women’s Ministry has been working hard these past few months to offer its own table of unique wares. All proceeds from the sale will benefit UMW missions. November 19 – PANCAKE BREAKFAST 9:00am-12:30pm in the refectory. Invite your friends and family and join us for pancakes, sausage, fruit and drinks! All proceeds benefit local missions and the suggested donation is $6 adults, $3 kids 6 and under. Feeling nostalgic for your days as a short-order cook? Then JOIN US in the kitchen that morning for pancake flipping, sausage cooking and good, old-fashioned fun.
